Newborns

Having a newborn baby come into your life is one of the most joyous times!  I prefer babies to come in between 4-12 days, but a newborn is still a newborn under 4 weeks of age.

Your newborn session is typically 2 hours long, giving plenty of time for snuggles, feeding, and any calming down.  I shoot for several set ups, and have a huge variety of fabric backdrops and cute little hats for you to browse through.  Every newborn session is designed around your personality.  I will ask if you have any hobbies, and do a great surprise for your session!

Safety is a huge issue, a parent is always close by when I have to walk away and grab a new backdrop or a hat, even though babe is sleepy and safe, we always take that extra mile in protecting your little one.  I talk you through things as I'm posing baby, I make sure that you are very well aware, and that makes the parents always more comfortable.  Set back, read a magazine and just let me work my magic!

All shots such as hands on chin are called a composite.  Either mom, dad, grandma (whoever is with you that day), will come and assist me on this shot.  The spotter holds baby up, and I take the picture, combine several images together and then we have that sweet little image!  I always recommend bringing an extra pair of hands with you!

Remain calm.  Your baby may pee, poop, or want to cluster feed at our session, but that is completely 100% normal!

Your baby is pretty much photographed in his/her birthday suite, but feel free to bring anything that you would like to incorporate into your session!
