2014 Investment Package

Session Info:
I primarily shoot in my studio at 461 Sheppard Rd. Taylor AL 36301. We do offer outdoor setups as well. Upon booking your session we ask that you read over this packet and return a signed copy of our contract to us.
When purchasing your session we want to gather basic info about you and your family.
Things that will help us plan your session would be:
-Estimated Due Dates
-How many people are in your family or will be in the picture ($5/per person over 5 people)
-Children's ages
-Any props* or certain looks you would like to achieve so we are able to have props and backdrops ready when you arrive
*Feel free to ask me if I have a certain item, I have lots to choose from.
Session Fees:
Fees are due 2 weeks prior to your session.
When purchasing the session I require 50% non-refundable, down payment with the remaining balance paid in full 2 weeks prior to your session*. This can be paid by
Cash, debit, credit, or Paypal.
Once your down payment and signed contract are received we will schedule your session.
Sessions are taxed at the standard Dothan, Alabama sales tax rate of 9%.
*If purchasing a newborn session we require full payment be received no later than 1 month prior to EDD as we only book a certain number of newborn sessions each
month and this will help us plan to better serve you.

Session Scheduling:
Typically I do not schedule any sessions on Sunday, Monday or Wednesday.
I work one Saturday during the month. These spots fill quickly so if you are in need of Saturday sessions please let me know ASAP.
Clients that need to reschedule must do so as soon as possible. I am a mother and understand issues do arise that cause us to run late or miss events. Please inform me
if you will be running late or need to reschedule so that I can open your appointment to others waiting to book.

*No Show: If I am not contacted by 30 mins after your scheduled session then I consider that to be a "no-show" appointment. This will result in loss of your session fees and you will have to purchase another session to re-book.
Editing:
I aim for a maximum 2 week turnaround time for getting your gallery to you. For most instances this is only a matter of days but I want to deliver images that have gone through basic edits to help you make your selection.
My basic edit will correct white balance, exposure, and simple touch ups. I will complete a basic edit before listing your gallery and further editing will be completed on
ordered images.
Further editing on ordered images will include: blemish removal, spots, and any cloning or composites that need to be completed.

*Composite images-$10 (hand/arm, braces)

Ordering:
Once your gallery is ready to view we will send you a notification so we can set up a viewing and ordering session with you. Either option for ordering needs to be
scheduled within 2 weeks of this notification.
Orders need to be placed at time of event and meet specified order minimums.
If the minimum order is not placed by 60 days following your session then you will forfeit your images and they will no longer be stored.
All orders are taxed at the standard Dothan, Alabama sales tax rate of 9%. Orders shipped to other states will not be charged sales tax.

Relisting Fee: There will be a $30/day relisting fee. I will relist upon request for a 24 hour period.

Discounts: I offer a 15% discount on orders for Military, Public Safety Personnel, AFS employees, WCC and MOPS Moms. This discount is not on session fees and can
not be combined with any other product discounts.

Referral Program: When you refer a new client you will receive a $50 print credit to be applied to your next order. New person-FREE 8x10 from your session. Refer 5
new clients and receive an 11x14 gallery wrap canvas.

Sneak Peeks: These are posted with your permission on Facebook ® to give you a glimpse of your session. If you share your sneak peek you will get a FREE 4x6 with
your order. All you do is share our post publicly on your Facebook ® page. Please do not alter this image. Limited to 1 offer per session.

In-person ordering session: ($150 minimum order)
This session will take place with my assistant in your home, at the studio location, or at a mutually agreed upon location.

Benefits:
-Saves Time and Money.
We will work within your budget to help you decide the most affordable way to get the products you want or even create a custom print package.
With an in person ordering session you avoid having an "electronic" conversation. You will meet with us face to face and we will make all decisions without a messy string of emails, messages, or texts. This also improves your order accuracy.
-Unbiased Opinion of the Images.
Sometimes it helps to have another opinion on which pose looks better or even what facial expression you will cherish for years to come.
We can also look at frames you have available and what size canvas you would like for a particular wall.
-Ability to have Hands-On Experience with Products.
Some of our products are very straight forward like prints and canvases. Most people can easily imagine the size of a 4x6 print. As you move through the different sizes we offer you may want a visual reference. We will provide mock image sizes to help with these decisions.
We also offer some non-traditional product that is easier to see than explain. Photobooks, photo cubes, and accordion books are all fabulous and creative ways to get more "bang for your buck".

Online photo gallery: ($200 minimum order)
When editing has been completed on your images you will receive a link to your gallery. Your gallery will be posted for 3 days at the end of which your order must be placed.

-Benefits:
-Ability to view and order at any time of day while your gallery is "live". No need to find time to schedule another session.
-No travel time or expense.
-If you have previously had an ordering session and already know our product options.
*Out of town clients will receive an online gallery to reduce expense on travel unless a request is made otherwise.

Payment Plans:
We offer 2 options for payment plans to help you budget for the products you want.

30 Day Payment Plan:
-Requires a $200 minimum order.
-50% non-refundable down payment
-Remaining 50% payment due in 30 days

60 Day Payment Plan:
-Requires a $300 minimum order.
-30% non-refundable down payment
-35% payment due on 30th day
-35% final payment due in 60 days

We hope this will help you place the order you have selected and still feel good about your family budget.
*Discounts and promotions will not be valid on payment plans. Print credit is still valid and will be applied after order minimum has been met. (For example, with a $50
referral credit and 30 day payment plan you will place a $200 order and then receive an additional $50 worth of prints.)

Newborn Session Information:
Session Fee: $200
Each session is 2-3 hours long*. This will allow us to pose baby after he/she has been changed and gotten back to sleep. We will evaluate our progress around an hour
and a half into the session to see what would be the best use of the remaining time.
I recommend feeding baby before you arrive and dressing in an everyday outfit. Babies love to spit-up on your favorite wardrobe piece so this will ensure all of the "picture clothes" are spot free.
I also have a link I can forward you that a fellow photographer compiled of foods that a breastfeeding mother should avoid the day before your newborn session.
I have heaters and a heating pad "on set" to keep baby warm and happy. That being said, mom may want to dress in layers to help with the lovely hormonal hot flashes.
Another note for Mom and Dad, bring an extra change of clothes for you. I typically take at least a few shots of baby in the nude. "Accidents" tend to happen when
baby is nude or in a prop outfit when they are typically out of a diaper.
*If you would like to extend the session to capture a few more shots than a $50/hour fee applies.

Newborn Lifestyle Session:
Session Fee: $300 (includes travel up to 30 miles)
This is just like our regular newborn sessions except it takes place in the comfort of your home. We are able to capture baby in familiar surroundings and incorporate aspects that are specific to your family.
Some families find this option easier than traveling to my studio. Also your home and furnishings offer prop options I typically could not get in my studio like in mom and
dad's bed or in baby's room.

Watch Me Grow - Milestone Session Package:
Session Fee: $200
This package is made to follow the newborn session so you are able to continue to document all the remarkable changes your baby will go through in their first year.
Sessions are scheduled every three months starting when baby is 3 months old and ending at the one year "smash cake" session.
Includes four (30 minute) sessions with a free 5x7 from each session.
*Order minimums are $100/each session on Milestone package.

One Hour In-Studio Session:
Session Fee: $75
This is for a family, milestone, or maternity session that is not part of one of our packages.

Mini Sessions:
Session Fee: $50
15 minute time slots
Covers up to 2 children, $5 for each additional child.
These are typically done for holidays, but we will host a few fun themes throughout the year. Mini sessions are a great way to update photos without a huge investment.
No purchase minimum beyond the session fee.

Photo Books:
These are a great alternative to "wallets".
It allows you a compact way to show off your investment in professional photography of your family.
I offer photo books that you can lay out yourself or we can choose image order for you. There are many options for covers and layouts to choose from.
Please let us know your preference and the title you would like on the outside cover.
Starting at $60 for "little black book" with up to 20 images.
