Black Friday Deals {Dothan Alabama Newborn Photographer Dothan Alabama Baby Photographer Mongomery Wetumka Prattville Baby Photographer }

The time is approaching where Black Friday steals are awaiting!  This year I'm doing things differently.  I am running my BF deals until Cyber Monday!

I'm not able to offer my killer 50% off everything this year because of my husbands job loss.  Beginning now, I am 100% responsible for our mortgage, and so this business is my livelihood, and I just can't run it this year!  I am so sorry, I know many of you look forward to this time of year!  But I am already the cheapest PRO photographer in the Wiregrass!

If booking a session, they aren't listed, but take $20 on regular sessions off, and $30 off of newborn session fees.  I am BOOKED on every weekend until 2014.  I will release my 2014 schedule this coming week, but are gearing up in a bit to leave and find us a new home for our new job!

I'm going to be switching a few things up with my purchase minimum is now a print minimum.  Reason being, I work super hard to create beautiful images, and while some may print from my recommended labs, some don't, and I hate seeing my work butchered by local printers ie: Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and ect.  There is a huge difference in the printers they use, and I do have work in my studio for comparison if you ever want to see it!  On top of that, I feel digitals just sit around and collect dust.  I am so embarrassed to admit this, but I haven't even printed off any of Ella Kate's newborn portraits that Dewdrops Photography by Amy McDaniel did in Auburn, but will do it when I get back, so that's another reason!

Elf On The Shelf Minis!  Few slots left!!  Book today, no extra slots will arise!

GIVE ABOUT TWO WEEKS FOR ALL ITEMS TO SHIP TO YOU OR TO ME.  THIS TIME IS BUSY FOR BOTH MYSELF AND MY PRINTING LABS I USE!!  CAN'T GUARANTEE ANY ITEMS ORDERED PAST DECEMBER 15TH TO ARRIVE IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!

Charlotte King Photography is completely turning into Bellies To Toddlers and is moving to Prattville, Alabama!!

It has been a long time coming, and praying, but things have came to simply this.  My husband is an employee of AFS, and a few weeks ago they announced they were going to lay off 250-300 employees.  We, being low in seniority will be making the cut list, however we are waiting until Friday.  Friday they are suppose to give out pink slips, but we are 90% sure.

So, he found an amazing job, taking a big pay cut, but something that offers us a reliable job (no lay off threats in other words lol), and a day job.  Currently he works on third shift, and it is killing me!

So our job will take us to Prattville!  I will be marketing weekday openings to the Wetumpka, Prattville, Montgomery and Millbrooke area!  So if you are from there, can you help a girl out?!?!  I would truly appreciate it!  Kind of exciting and scary all at the same time!!

So I know what your thinking.  What about me, I've paid and pre booked!  Well, I will be working down here in Dothan beginning in January every other weekend.  Every other weekend, we will be driving down here for me to work on Saturdays, and so my kiddos can visit with grandparents!  Which, will work out best for some of my clients since everyone wants Saturdays!!  I will be laying out my whole calendar for next year and will have it laid out!

My website I was going to work on a while back, I never had a chance, but I do now so I'm going to hit it hard next couple of weeks.

We are so excited, and nervous, but we have prayed and believe God is sending us to where we are meant to be!

If you have any questions or concerns please message me!  I am so excited to be able to relocate and have a job, while still being able to capture memories for all my sweet clients!!

Happy Veteran's Day {Charlotte King Photography Dothan, AL Newborn Baby Child Family Photographer}

Today is no ordinary day, it is a day to stand up, and say Thank You.  Thank you to all of our men and women in arms that have served overseas.  While all Military needs a thank you from time to time, today is a day to honor those who have served in a War.  That is what the true meaning of a "vet" is.

I've served 8 years in the military, and my first and only deployment was in 2008-2009 in Iraq.  I was stationed on two different bases, and had a life changing experience.  When you see the poverty over there it really puts you in check to be truly thankful for all that you have.  I remember being escorted to a different base, and looking up and seeing the children standing on the side of the road, clothes were rags, they looked like they haven't took a bath in clean water in months.  The only water they really had was mud puddles it seemed, and they just looked at you when you passed by.  Sometimes we would catch them yelling for us "Americans".  See previous to my deployment, we use to throw things for them out of the convoy, like water, candy, ect, but now you can't.

I look back and glance at those commercials in my head.  You know the "poverty" ones.  I use to think those were so fake, that someone was making the kids look like that, but in all actuality, poverty is covering our world.  I believe us being in Iraq was helping a bit, I will not get all "political" today though!

I believe everything that I have experienced in my life has led me to where I am.  I was this poor kid from the wrong side of town, joined the Army in high school, graduated, and was deployed a few months later.  That's every 18 year olds wish right?  I graduated high school, went to AIT, and came back to "We will be deploying next year, lets get ready."  That was the beginning of my story.  I had a good experience being deployed, some laughable memories, some sad teary memories.  Working the flight line was a plus as well, when superstars would come, and preform we were the first to see them, so  that was pretty awesome!  I've made friendships, heartbreaks, and a new view on the world!

We don't know how that soldier ended up where he/she is, but we can thank them today!  Hug your soldier!  You  may not even know a vet is walking among you today, but we are everywhere!  Here is a few images from my deployment!  I traded my boots in for my mom jeans, and wont ever look back!

Ella Kate {Birth Story} Charlotte King Photography, Dothan Alabama Newborn Photographer

Ella Kate was a planned induction for September 23rd.  My body had been preparing on it's own, I had lost my mucus plug, dilated 3 1/2 cm and effaced 80% when I went in that Monday morning at 5:00!  {Whew SUPER early!!!}  Our other kiddos stayed with their Nonna (my MIL), and the grandparents were rotating days for our hospital stay!

They started me on the Pitocin at 6:00 that morning.  My birth plan included NO epidural, and I had my husband, essential oils, and Christian music going to help sooth contractions!  At 7:00 or a little after, I experienced the worst pain in my life other than contractions, Dr. Gilchrist came in and broke my water!  Thought I was about to DIE!!  Contractions started coming, and going, getting stronger, every time I would get use to one set of contractions, a new set of stronger ones would come in!  I was blessed with an amazing nurse!  She was there for my first, second, and third child!  How amazing is that!  I simply LOVE Flower's Hospital!!!

I had my ear plugs in, concentrating on the lyrics through Christ I can do this!!  I was setting the mood, getting my faith on, and hubby was snoring in the chair.  Every time I would get use to a set of contractions the nurse would come and up it 2 more, they kept getting closer, and stronger.  I started breathing, turning, then the internal monitor fell out, and I had to lay in one stinking position. The pain continuously got stronger.  I started breathing harder, grabbing onto the bed.  Steven finally got up and started rubbing my back and helping me breathe.   My last resort was breathing in my lavender essential oils.  I have to say, it did help a lot, and wish I had stuck to it.  I started crying, then I couldn't concentrate on my breath, this was so hard, and it hurt so bad.  I just wanted some relief.  I had an urge to push, told the nurse, she checked me, and I was only at 5 cm.  This was disappointing, because it was 11:45, and I hurt so bad.

I finally couldn't catch my breath in between contractions, and I opted for the Epidural.  Got that in, and then seemed like I progressed more!  At 12:30 I was up to 7 1/2 cm dilated, and then at 3:50, it was time to push!  I gave a few hard pushes, and Ella slid out, then they had me "hold" so Dr. G could come in, and she sucked back on in!  Then he got there, she was sliding back out, and they told me to hold her not to push, so I didn't and she just came on out on her own!  My husband said, "Charlotte, you got your red head!"  Gosh, that made me so happy!!  I joke and tell people now, "It only took me three times to get one that looks like me"!  Ella Kate King was born into this world at 4:06 pm.  She was 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 1/2 long, perfectly pink and fuzzy hair!  The loudest cry ever!!

I was so blessed to have my mom, and Dr. Gilchrist take these following photographs, if you just found out you are expecting, Dr. Gilchrist was amazing, the whole Aventa staff is just great!

In the near future I plan to photograph more births.  I really enjoyed the experience of having mine photographed!  I wish I done this with the other two :)  Well, I attempted with my second child of me doing them myself haha!  Sometimes doing them yourself isn't the best idea when your the one in labor :)

Falling In Love With Newness {Introducing Digital Images with session and print packages}

It has been a long time coming, over a year of request for print packages, and lots of comments on doing the session fees differently!  Well you asked, and I am giving!!

Lets start with the "session fee".  It is no longer a session fee, but now a creative fee.  What is the difference?  A session fee, is itself, paying for your session.  A creative fee, is paying for my time, talent, and for the TEN, yes TEN digital images you will now receive with your session!  They will be medium resolution (8x10 files), simply meaning you can ONLY print 8x10 and under, but that is simply amazing!  Here are the new prices:

One Hour Creative Session:
   Includes one hour of time in studio (or on location if I am on location the day you book), up to three outfit changes (time permitting of course), a 7 day proof gallery, and 10 medium resolution images sent via downloadable link, with printing rights.
   Total of:$200.00

Newborn Creative Session:
    Includes up to two hours of time, different set ups and posing (you will receive a questionnaire), parent/sibling shots, a 7 day proof gallery, and 10 medium resolution images sent via downloadable link with printing rights.
    Total of: $275.00

When you book, you will put down a NON REFUNDABLE $50.00.  If you do not show up for your session, or you cancel, you will not receive that $50.00 back.  Any other monies paid towards your session, will be refundable.  The remaining balance must be paid the week before your session.  You will receive a receipt and contract via email once you pay your $50.00 deposit.

Doing the new way of charging for creative sessions you will no longer have a minimum purchase.  You will receive 25% off of anything extra purchased in your gallery as well.

Proof galleries, are now 7 days instead of 5, and they start when I send you the link in your email after I edit them.  You have 7 days to view choose your files, and any extra images you choose to purchase.  You can extend your gallery for $15 a week if you need more time!

Print Packages {Yay!!}
This has been a HUGE request, and I think I have created something for everyone!!

Giggles:
2 8x10's
2 5x7's
4 4x6's
8 wallets {$90.00}

Smiles:
11x14
2 8x10's
3 5x7's
6 4x6's
16 wallets  {$165.00}

Butterfly Kisses:

3 8x10's
4 5x7's
6 4x6's
16 wallets
1 full res image {$275.00}

Forever Afters:
16x20
11x14
4 8x10's
5 5x7's
8 4x6's
24 wallets
3 full res images  {$425.00}

All digital images are sent via email and will come with printing rights.  You may choose different images.  Wallets are in sets of 8, so for every set of 8, you can choose a different image.

Last, but least, the last change, was of course the CD.  I thought doing the 20, 40, and 60 image buy would be easier for those, but seems like it confused them!  So I did away with it, and now it is just a buy "all", or buy individual.  Here is what the pricing looks like on them!
Digital Copy (CD)
If you were to buy individually:
Full Resolution Image $35 per image with Print Rights
8x10 Digital Image $25 per image with Print rights.
5x7 Digital Image $15 per image with Print rights.

All Images
 You may purchase all your images on a CD with printing rights.
5x7          $275
8X10      $375
Full Res    $500

The single files are still the same price, and the "all" images are still the same price, you just can't choose between how many "bundled" images you want!

So, when you go to choose your 10 files that came with your session, you will get a code to use at checkout that will be good for one time, and is an instant download.  HOWEVER, keep in mind, that I do complete editing once you pick your images out, so you will receive the final download link 24-48 hours after your purchase/choosing!

I am so excited for this, and to show how excited, I'm offering an introductory price of 50% off any creative session (please note I am a BABY photographer, so I will not take on any models, weddings, engagement, or senior sessions).  Had to put that out there!  Here lately I don't think some are looking at my work, and just messaging me out of the blue.  You don't want a baby photographer for your wedding, choose someone that has that niche and specializes in that field!  That is today's tip from yours truly :)

Enjoy this nice "Fall" rainy weather!!

xoxo,
  Charlotte

Sophia {1 Year Session/Smash Cake Dothan, Alabama Baby Photographer}

Little Miss Sophia came in almost two weeks ago full of pretty pretty smiles, a very cute wardrobe, and a blue cake!!  We had so much fun!!  I get smiley babies a lot, but some with a cake not so smiley, but she enjoyed it thoroughly!  Best believe she walked around with blue icing in her nose for a week more than likely!

I get questions all the time about what do bring to your 1 year session!  You can bring up to three outfits with me, I like to get 2-3 looks (depending on time), then we do the cake at the end!  I really enjoy theme sessions!  They are so much fun!  Sophia's was a "candy" theme hence the colors :)  She wore a tutu, and had a headband birthday hat, but that lasted for a lovely 5 seconds!!  I have a lady I can finally recommend to make tutu's and I'm looking for someone who can monogram, because that has been a huge request for my southern mama's!  For little boys, I recommend going on Etsy and just finding a diaper cover/tie set :)  they are super cute!!

When you come to your session, don't forget the towel, because we will get messy!!  I have baby wipes, a sink, and a lovely changing table to get some clean up done!

All babies react different with cake, some dive in, some need assistance, and some, they just do not like to be sticky!  We spend the first year of their life, as parents, trying to teach them not to make messes, that it isn't okay, so when we do the cake, it can go either way!  I love doing the cake though, it is always so much fun, but my son was one of the kids who did not like their cake!  He cried, and slung his hands, poor bud!!

So, here is some images from Sophia's session, we had a great time!!

I have had some request just for a cake smash mini, I'm going to start offering them!  It will be $30 for a 30 minute session, and we will do cake images only, so no outfit changes!  I recommend using Publix by Flowers Hospital for my Dothan folks, or Sweet and Sassy!!

New Product!!!

Today I spent time ordering some new product to come in and add!!  I think everyone will be blown away by this new little "black" book!  It is perfect, and the price will be amazing!  It is a 5x7 or a 7x5, up to 20 images, leather, and flush mounted!!  Yes how dreamy does that sound!!You can add extra images (minimum of 2 at a time), for .50 more each image.  The cost of one of these beauties will be for the low price of only $40!!  Yes, great price for so many images and a cute little keepsake!!  I ordered one for the studio to showcase my newborns from this year, and it is gorgeous!!  I can't wait to get it in, and sit it on the table next to my magazines :)

I will be adding more and more product, seeing what works, and what doesn't work.  Right now, what doesn't work is my CD's that I offer.  I have no answer to why, but they aren't working properly.  I am burning them just as I have for years, and all of a sudden they don't work in my clients computer.  They work fine in mine, so I'm not sure.  I will no longer offer the CD, you will receive a link with your images for you to download them for now on.  Also, most computers aren't coming with a disk drive anymore, so if you would like a custom USB drive, it will be an additional $20.  The turn around on me ordering the drive because I can't keep them in stock could be up to a week!  Just a little info!  The link where you can download your images though is beyond amazing!  You can even drag it onto your smartphone and have an instant forever app of your images!  LOVE!!  I'm trying to stay with the new age!

I am almost booked up for this month, and only a few slots left for September before I go on maternity leave.  I will be on maternity leave from September 15th-November 8th!  I expect everyone to be able to respect my time off with my new babe!  I will be in and out of course flooding everything with my little Ella!!

I just had to cancel my Grand Opening.  Currently, I still have butt loads of work to complete for it to be technically ready, and I have no time.  I am so busy being a full time mom, wife, and having a full time photography business as well.  On top of all that craziness, but sitter is returning to college, and I have to fill her spot with someone reliable, has their own transportation, and is a non smoker.  Still have to get the nursery in our room together for the new babe, my son starting school and soccer, daughter beginning gymnastics, whew, its just life!  So, I thought it would be best to post-pone it until I return from maternity leave and in time for Christmas goodies!!

I have been beyond blessed this month, and want to thank every single one of you!!  Thanks for walking in and bringing your sweet babes to see me, and for allowing me to be apart of your life!  Thank you for all the referrals, and the patience!  You are ALL the best!!  This Friday I will host a little customer appreciation day to give back to you!!  Thank you for all the support and growth and making my small little business move up in this world!

Remington {Newborn, Dothan, AL Photographer, Newborn Photographer, Baby Photographer, Wiregrass Area}

A few weeks back, I had announced I would have a contest.  It was not the normal contest, as I wanted something different, not a like, but based on someone's actual response.  Well this beautiful lady from the inside and out sent the most heartfelt story ever!  Such faith built, and overflowing with kindness, gratitude, and love!  I will not post her response as it may be private, but I will say, I was in tears while reading it, and felt an immediate connection, I knew she was my winner!

Her sweet little man made his way into my studio almost two weeks ago, and was a week old!  He was pure heaven!  I got to snuggle and just love on him while posing him!!  I tried to incorporate both parent's personality as I do with each session.  Mom was Boutique gal, and Dad was hunting/fishing man (very into since I didn't see he kept his Yeti hat on for family pictures LOL)!!  Oh we gotta love our Dad's :)

I got out the morning of Remington's newborn session and went "junkin" I found a nice minnow bucket and a cute wood basket!  Now go to lala land as you see some of his yummy images from his newborn session!

If you are interested in booking your newborn session make sure to do so while your pregnant!  I fill up so quickly, and beginning in November, I will be only taking X amount of sessions due to my daughter's arrival in September :)

Delivering Affordable Professional Photography

So, I was pretty much up to midnight last night trying to come up with a Policy Plan, and a Price List that was "more" budget friendly.  I was already the best priced Pro in Dothan, but I think this will take the icing on the cake!  However, let me state, this price list is both combined from 2012 pricing, and 2013 pricing, it is half way on the same level of the 2012 price list, and cheaper than some other prices.  For example.  My 16x20 use to be $100, and is now $60.  This is a TRIAL run pricing system as well.  I have to see how it will uphold and do for my business.  I have a good large size overhead, and I have to profit some to pay my own home bills aside from overhead.

A few more changes.  Purchase minimums are still at $100, and this is AFTER any discounts and ect.  For now on in your proof gallery cart, I will set a minimum, so when you checkout you must meet it.  I had signed contracts, but had people still not making the minimum.  If minimums are not met, I can't pay my overhead, meaning, I have to come out of my husbands pockets and pay it, and that isn't how you run a successful business, after all Walmart and Sears closed down.

Let me explain the proof gallery.  It seems some have misunderstood how it works.  It is 5 days.  In that 5 days you must view and ORDER.  I can't take it down and relist it for payday.  The reason I give you the choice to list it is because you know when you will be able to get paid to place your order.  I shoot X amount of sessions each month, and my site only allows me to host X amount of images, and I have to pay for those X amount of images, and I'm starting to go over that amount, and I need to set a structure.

Ordering from your cart is very simple.  I know mobile users have a hard time with it, but desktop/laptop users don't.  I advise you to order from your cart please!  I don't have employees, and it really takes a load off my shoulder, however, I will still take emailed orders if that is what is easy for you.  However, I will no longer take emailed orders without Payment.  It seems to be getting worse that some will email their order before it expires, and never make a payment.  Now, I don't even place an order until it is completely paid for, but that will no longer cut it.  If you can't pay before you gallery expires, you will have to pay the $50 relist fee like all of my other clients.  Also, when you send an email order, please leave your payment info, if paying by debit/credit, leave that info, or if PayPal, please leave your email.  Now, if your gallery expires on a Wednesday, but you don't get paid till Friday, send your order VIA email, with payment attached and I'll run Friday afternoon.

Updated Policies:
Sneak Peek Policy:

Beginning 7/14/2013, I will no longer post a sneak peek until a purchase has been made.  I LOVE posting my sneak peeks, but I feel that for my business, it would be better ran to be a “surprise” when you see your gallery, then once an order is placed, to simply choose a few of your favorites and upload that way!

Discount Policy:
Beginning 7/14/2013, I will no longer combine discounts.  I currently offer 15% off for Military, Firefighter, EMS, Police, Dothan Mom’s Meet Up Group and AFS employees.

Ordering Policy:
Your 5 day proof gallery is for you to order from.  If you can’t order from it, then there will be a $50 re-list fee.  If you don’t order from it the first time, any promised discounts will be done away with as well.

Payment Plan Policy:
Affective 7/14/2013, if you decide to go with a payment plan then you must put down HALF of your order when you place your order.  The rest can be divided up into payments, but must be paid a month after your session.  Please email me or call if you need a little more time.

Referral Reward Policy:
For every client you refer, you and the new client will receive a $25.00 print credit, or a high resolution downloadable file.  Refer up to 5 people, and your next session will be free.

I have NO Saturday's open for this month.  I am completely booked solid for my one Saturday a month, however August is filling up, so if you need a Saturday, claim that one!  My one Saturday a month in September will be September 7th.

I am really excited about this new pricing system I have!  If you would like an updated print price list and digital (I was able to group the digitals into smaller options, and lower the individuals a tad bit), please comment with your email!

Now this pricing system will take place in the next day or two, I will have to shut down my proofing gallery while I get things together, and then update my blog and ect.  Loads of office work!

SALE....ON SELECT SESSIONS AND PLANS

Woo hoo!  Who is gearing up for the 4th of July this weekend?!?!  We are staying in this year, the weather looks to be a little crazy here lately, so we may just have a little celebration with our kiddos inside, maybe set up the sprinkler, who knows :)

So, each month, I am starting a new tradition.  I will put something on sale, and a contest or giveaway will happen.  This month (July), my contest is for expectant mams.  All you have to do is submit an image and a paragraph (or two), of why you would love to win the biggest level of the Believe plan!  Very simple.  No like contest, so don't worry about worrying about getting all the likes, they are not needed :)

Part two.  After thinking and thinking about what to put on sale, it came to me.  Almost all of my babies are graduating my grow with me plan.  Very sad.  So, I would love to get some more new lovelies in!!  When you think about the Believe Plan (was known as the grow with me plan before), it has meaning to it.  Believe is a wonderful plan set up to watch your child grow into this amazing little person!  From birth to cooing, head lifting, pushing up, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, standing, first words, walking, running, and jumping!  Its about capturing the little things that mean the most.

I have to get on a stool real quick.  When you look back, at your child's first year, what do you have to show for it?  I know I have each milestone captured, I can remember what my baby was doing at that exact moment!  Like the time I took Sophia out for her 9 month pictures to Botanical Gardens, and that poor baby got ate up by gnats.  She was so mad at me that day lol!  But I did get her pretty smiles with her laughter, and that is what counts for me.  I'm the type of mom who puts my children first, I've never been too concerned with the nice name brand sunglasses, or Coach purses, and ect.  Now those things are quite awesome, but what I want to look back in 20,30, even 50 years from now, is on my memories.  You know, I still have the pictures of my great, great, great, grandparents and they are awesome!  Total black and white feel, and the clothing is ridiculous, but I cherish those, because it a sense, that is now apart of my history.  I have watched each of my children grow, and my husband always says, "Charlotte, you don't need a picture at each stage."  Oh men, they don't understand!  Yes I DO!  I will always hold a memory in my mind of them that small, but to have something to actually look at, now that is a true cherished memory!

What do you see for your child's first year?

So, here is the most wonderful news yet!  You can purchase the Believe Plan for only $39.99 PLUS tax (.09%).  That is right.  Even if your child is 6 months old, and you want to get in on this incredible deal, it is still a huge savings if you were to buy 6, 9, and 1 year sessions!  That is a value of $150, that you can get for $39.99!!!  NOW, what it does not include is your newborn session (we will get to that in a minute)!  Here is a link to go and purchase the plan!
http://ckingphoto.shootproof.com/event/225228

When checking out, the Believe Baby Plan will be the only purchase options!!  Very easy!

Now!  Onto the really good part!!  If you haven't yet booked your newborn session with me, the newborn session is also on sale!!  For only $50.00 (plus tax)!  You can purchase that at this link:
http://ckingphoto.shootproof.com/event/225235

Now, when trying to check out, of course there is an image up and you have to select (add to cart), then a price list will pop up, but the only option you will have will be for either the plan or the newborn session.  You can pay using PayPal of your debit/credit card.  You will receive a welcome packet no later than 24 hours after purchase!

I look forward to all the new little ones that come in!!  I'm so stinking excited!!

If you have any questions or comments, make sure to ask away!!

-I have been in the Army Reserve for 7 years and 3 months now.  My contract officially ends next April.  Yes, I can't wait!

-I love to eat, odd how someone who can't cook, loves to eat huh?!?
-Pickles are the way to my heart!
-My kids were named from watching too much TV.  Aiden came from Sex and the City, and Sophia from Golden Girls.
-I have personally met Woody Harrelson, and Ben Foster.  Before my tour in Iraq, they came to Fort Dix, NJ to film their movie, "The Messenger", yeah I was an extra!  How awesome was that!!  I even have a nifty certificate that the actors awarded us soldiers for partaking in it.  The scene where they are sitting in the cafeteria eating, yeah I'm in that scene!
-I have been to several countries, Iraq, Germany, Czech Republic, Ireland, Switzerland, and France.
-My dream is to own a huge country style white house, blue shutters, and a red door.  I would love a wrap around porch, so I could raise my kids, and watch my grandkids grow in this home.  It is actually a goal of mine, that may or may not happen, but would be awesome!
-I am the worlds worst hair stylist and make up artist, I mean, have you seen me lately LOL!

Okay, so some business info!

-My business is legit.  I have my license for City, County, and State.
-I pay taxes, like a normal, hardworking citizen.
-I specialize in bellies to toddlers.

So, if I had to "narrow" the reasons why to book with me, I guess this is what I would say!  My name is Charlotte, I'm human, I'm a mother, and a lover of Christ.  I understand the importance of images, it is something that will last a life time.  I'm a regretter as well.  I never had a wedding photographer, nor a newborn photographer for my firstborn.  I have nothing to hang on my walls of those special events that happened in our life.  After years have gone by, my education on the importance of quality images are my post prized possession that I own.  I am a professional, a hardworking small business owner in today's economy.  I take pride in what I do, and will do what I have to, to ensure a happy and pleased customer. I put the safety of your child first, rather than the beings of myself.  I don't get inpatient, I am very kind and gentle.  I give you quality, not quantity.  I am the best prices professional photographer in my area. I would love to have you not only as a client, but as a great connection.  I love running into my clients!  Especially when you can spark those conversations, and your kids are diving into my arms because they see Mrs. Charlotte :)  Plus, I believe I am the only one crazy enough to speak baby language, yeah, forgot to mention that ^ up there, I am fluent in baby gibberish LOL!

Before I close this out, I would like to share an amazing compliment from a recent client after they saw a sneak peek of their images on my blog,
"Oh my gosh.. My husband and I just cried!
And we don't do that!
You are amazing."
I can brag about that, right?!?!  That really made my night!  I love when I hear sweet things like that from clients, I really feel that I am doing things right!

Andi and Ayla {One Year Smash Session, Dothan, AL Photographer}

So, after reschedule due to sickness, doctor appointments, out of town trips, and you name it, I was finally able to get these two bubbly one year old twins in!  Their mama had found me through Dothan Mom's Meet Up Group (great group for all you mama's in the Wiregrass that would LOVE to find other mama's and playdates for your kiddos)!!

I was so excited, I only shot one set of twins before and they were newborns, so I really didn't know what to expect!  Here they came in, being wheeled by their beautiful mama in their little wagon!  We got Andi out and started once I was completely set up!  Andi was so friendly, and she smiled, oh did she smile!!
This is just a preview of course!!

Then we would switch out and it was Ayla's turn!  She was smiley as well!  Both super happy babies!  Ayla did want to go go go, so we had to be on our toes, I think mama and I were sweating by the end of the session, not to discount that my air conditioner needs to be fixed with this hot summer ahead!

Both girls had the most stunning blue eyes, and energy oh my!  I think all of my babies that come to me have beautiful blue eyes, and a few with beautiful brown eyes!!  I love how they sparkle, and they just light up little one's personality!  These two were completely full of personality!!  I love how mama brought different outfits as well, that they weren't matched to the t!

Then it was time for smash cake!  I always wait to save that for the end of the show :)  I picked up two jumbo cupcakes from Publix, flavor Strawberry, and I did get a taste of that icing and YUMMO!!  Publix has made my past few smash cakes, and they are beautiful each time!!  These girls sure did love them some cake :)

I know mom will be excited to know that her gallery is ready to be listed!!  Who wouldn't?!?!

In the future I would love to photograph more multiples!  I guess that is one goal to work on!  Enjoy!
